Before You Follow (BYF)

I don't tolerate any acts of hate like racism, homophobia, sexism, ableism, religious discrimination, and the like; however, I like to believe that I'm the type of person who would inform people first. I dislike shoving my beliefs down other people's throats, since I think that it's our personal responsibility to educate ourselves; if one continues to be ignorant, that's not my concern.I love creating my own content (memes, concepts, gifs, etc.) and I don't really like it when people use/repost my edits/ideas without asking me, giving credit, or leaving some sort of interaction (a like or retweet would be nice?) first. I have a busy schedule and I take time in making these things, so I'd really appreciate it if I get the recognition from what I would post, not when other people repost them without my knowledge. I'm aware that this is not the case most of the time, though, so I don't hold grudges. It is the internet after all.I use tags (example: /j /gen /ly) or blatantly write tweets in a sarcastic fashion, but sometimes I forget them, so if I fail to do so and if I say something insensitive, feel free to call me out! I'm always open to criticism, but not when it intends to do more harm than good. Remember: stay constructive, not destructive.I don't follow first because I'm shy, but if we have something in common, I will follow back. The full list is in the "Favorites" tab!
